FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Washington, DC – (May 22, 2025)– Last night, Israeli Embassy staffers Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim were fatally shot by an antisemitic political terrorist outside of the Capital Jewish Museum.
“Last night, two young staff members of the Israeli Embassy were brutally slain as they departed the American Jewish Committee’s ACCESS Young Diplomats Reception here in our Capital. This should have never happened, and we denounce the antisemitic political violence that has led to the death of two innocent individuals. It is never okay to take the life of another, and never in the name of a political ideology,” stated Patrick Mara, Chairman of the D.C. Republican Party.
He concluded, “The political terrorist who made the conscious decision to take the lives of Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Antisemitism, radicalism, and hate have no place in America. We send our deepest heartfelt sympathies to the families of the victims.”
