DC REPUBLICANS WORK FOR EQUAL RIGHTS DURING PRIDE MONTH

WASHINGTON, DC (June 21, 2021) – The Republican Party has a long history of fighting to build a stronger and more inclusive America, dating back to President Abraham Lincoln and earlier.  As Americans celebrate Pride Month, the Washington, DC Republican Committee continues to work for a more inclusive Capital City.  Patrick Mara, Chairman of the DC Republican Party, said:

“Pride Month is an opportunity for DC Republicans to reflect on the GOP’s history of working for liberty and equal justice for all Americans, regardless of sexual orientation.  But this month isn’t just for reflection.  Rather, it provides the opportunity for all of us to work toward the goals of President Lincoln for inclusivity for all.  We honor the work of our Log Cabin Republicans and reaffirm our commitment to work for a better economic, healthcare and social environment for all DC residents.”
