Stacia ‘Honeybadger’ Hall is a mother of two and small business owner in Washington DC’s Ward 3. Stacia grew up with strong family values. At age 21, she became a single mom. Being alone and financially unstable, Stacia turned to the welfare system, spent a year in public housing, and then a few months in a homeless shelter.
Stacia’s ‘honeybadger’ resilience and determination drove her to work two jobs, pulling herself off government assistance, and into a steady career. These significant life experiences inform Stacia’s passion for public service
