Saturday, March 12, 2016: DC Republicans vote for President & select Delegates at a “state” convention

Thank you for your interest in the District of Columbia Republican Party “state” convention taking place on March 12, 2016, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Loews Madison Hotel. In 2016, Presidential candidates will not appear on the June 14, 2016, District of Columbia primary ballot. Instead, voters will have the opportunity to select both Delegates and Presidential candidates at a DC Republican Party Convention on March 12. Anyone can participate as long as they are registered as a Republican voter at the DC Board of Elections by January 1, 2016. Voters can spend as little as a few minutes voting and can vote at anytime between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM on Saturday, March 12. Below is an article on the Convention, but please use the above drop down menu to see which Presidential candidates obtained ballot access; to view the list of almost 170 DC Republicans running to represent the District of Columbia at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland; and to learn more about the March 12 convention.
